    Dear Friedemann Findeisen

My name is Mazwe Cuba and I am a huge fan of your videos, your blog and your book. While watching one of your videos you said you always asked the question of how a song was written. What I wanted to show you is this musical algorithm I have created which can create music in any genre, key or tempo. Besides that, it also uses some of the modern pop songwriting techniques you have covered in your videos among others you are yet to cover. Whether you believe in algorithm produced music or not, I was hoping you could try to understand the songwriting processes the algorithm uses to create the composition (especially pertaining to the singers melody). The songs which have the singers melody in the final composition are Sparks, The Background Home, Drunk Lovers, Visual and Jazz Complete. These are all played by lead instruments which you will hear. Majority of the other compositions do include the singers melody however I left them out of the final composition due to the inability to find an instrument that fits with the background music.
